it's FUNKT again! Online registration is now open for autumn:
When: 23 October - 27 October 2023(Monday to Friday)
Costs: 150 € for UdS members – 175 € for externals incl. lunch and drinks (water and tea)

Reduction for students and single parents
Additional financial support for a limited number of places is available on request for the children of students and single parents working at the UdS. If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact the Family Office at: familie@uni-saarland.de. Students must prove their student status by providing a certificate of enrolment for the current semester. The reduced fee is 50 €.
Sibling discount
All parents benefit from a discount for siblings. If two or more siblings participate in the same FUNKT week, parents pay the full participation fee for the first child and the 20% reduced fee for each additional child. Please fill out a registration form for each child.

Intercultural Family Meet & Eat

Dear Parents,
the time has come, our next Intercultural Family Meet & Eat is coming up!
On Tuesday, 7/18/2023, we will meet from 4 - 6pm for a casual pot-luck on the campus lawn.
In case of bad weather: Campus Center A4 4, Room 2.02. We are looking forward to the intercultural exchange.
Toys and also childcare will be provided for the children.
It is possible to join us at any time. For better planning, please register by 7/15/2023.

Nappydancers promotes the ability to learn, self-confidence, coarse and fine motor skills, the natural bond between caregiver and child, body language, facial expressions and gestures, dealing with other children, emotionality, body awareness.

NGO Objectif Sciences International Events
OSI is running several camps and scientific trips for children and young people in French or English this year.
The scientific expeditions for adults are multilingual.
Many camps and expeditions are also offered as class or study trips on request.

it’s FUNKT again! Online registration is now open for the following FUNKT weeks:
Whitsun: 30.05.23 – 02.06.23 (Tuesday to Friday) – 120€ UdS members/ 140€ externals incl. lunch and drinks (water and tea)).
Summer 1: 24.07.23 – 28.07.23 (Monday to Friday) – 150€ UdS members/ 175€ externals incl. lunch and drinks (water and tea)).
Summer 2: 31.07.23 – 04.08.23 (Monday to Friday) – 150€ UdS members/ 175€ externals incl. lunch and drinks (water and tea)).
The week costs only 50 euros for student children (proof of current enrollment certificate). Employees pay 150 euros per child / per week. All parents benefit from a discount for siblings. If two or more siblings take part in the same FUNKT week, parents pay the full participation fee for the first child and the participation fee reduced by 20 for each additional child. Single parents and parents in financial difficulties can also send an email to familie@uni-saarland.de for possible funding.

20th Saarbrücken Women's Run

For the 20th time, the popular charity fun run along the Saar is taking place. Mayor Uwe Conradt will give the starting shots for the 10 km run, the 4.5 km run and the 4.5 km walking route in 2023.
Participation fee: €6 (girls and young women up to 18 years: €3), women's running T-shirt: €8

March 8, 2023 is International Women's Day - a day for fighting, discussing, celebrating. The Women's Forum Saarbrücken presents its demands for this special day with an information stand and an open microphone.
